Would you like to explore nature in an active and adventurous way with an (electric) mountain bike? Or are you a fanatical mountain biker? Then De Kijkuit is the place to be. We rent out mountain bikes and we host trips.
The 34 km long Sport Vlaanderen trail takes you through the attractive countryside of Beernem and its surroundings. More than half of the ride is on unpaved roads and rough terrain. Combine this with a kayak trip and your day cannot go wrong.
Prefer to bike a local lap along the water? Then we are happy to provide a self-guided route for you, ask about it when you arrive at De Kijkuit.

Are you less sporty, but still want to enjoy nature by bike? Then you can rent one of our electric mountain bikes! Our e-mountain bikes support up to 25 km/h and have a range of 60-120 km (depending on the chosen mode eco, tour, sport or turbo).

Catering
We provide food and drinks, both in the restaurant, the outdoor bar and the big party tent. Cooking can be done according to your wishes.
Camp at De Kijkuit
Your organization can make use of all of Kijkuit’s facilities and build a big summer camp together with us. We load your schedule full of activities and take care of the catering for the hungry souls.
